Broadcom's public GitHub presence looks very different from its hardware-sector peers (Nvidia, AMD): the most recently pushed repos are almost entirely internal Hands-On-Lab ("HOL") and training/education content — vApp management scripts, lab environments, course material — inherited largely from its VMware acquisition, rather than product code or anything AI-model-specific.

The handful of genuinely reusable tools among them (a CredHub release for secrets management, Wavefront monitoring integrations, a Rally widgets plugin) are infrastructure-operations utilities, not AI software. That's a meaningful signal in its own right: Broadcom's actual AI-relevant business — networking silicon and custom chips for hyperscalers — isn't developed in the open the way GPU and model-serving software is at Nvidia or AMD.
