Broadcom
Financial disclosures
Q3 FY2026 (ended Aug 2, 2026) — reported Sept 2, 2026 · As of Oct 28, 2026
Broadcom's fiscal third quarter landed as one of the strongest prints in the company's history, driven almost entirely by the AI build-out. Total revenue hit $29.6 billion, up 86% year over year, powered by a semiconductor-solutions segment that grew 127% to $20.8 billion — within that, AI-specific semiconductor revenue (custom accelerators and networking silicon for hyperscalers) reached $16.7 billion, up 221% YoY. Infrastructure software, built around the VMware acquisition, grew a steadier 29% to $8.75 billion, suggesting the VMware integration has moved into a more mature subscription cadence.
Profitability scaled even faster than revenue: GAAP net income more than tripled to $13.1 billion, and diluted EPS came in at $2.68, up 215%. Free cash flow was $13.7 billion — 46% of revenue — on light capex of just $532 million, since Broadcom is a fabless chip designer rather than an infrastructure operator. CEO Hock Tan reiterated that demand for Broadcom's custom AI accelerators and networking "continues to be very strong."
For Q4 FY2026 (ending Nov 1, 2026, not yet reported), Broadcom guided to revenue of roughly $34.8 billion (+93% YoY) and AI semiconductor revenue of $21.7 billion (+236% YoY), implying the AI ramp is still accelerating rather than plateauing.
