Q2 2026 (quarter ended June 27, 2026) — reported Aug 4, 2026 · As of Oct 28, 2026

AMD turned in a record quarter for the three months ended June 27, 2026, with revenue of $11.5 billion, up 50% year over year, as its data-center AI accelerator and server-CPU business continued to scale rapidly. Data Center was the clear engine of growth, more than doubling to $6.7 billion (up 107% YoY) and climbing to roughly 58% of total revenue. Client and Gaming, now reported together, came in at $3.8 billion, up a modest 6%: Client (Ryzen) grew 23% to $3.1 billion, while Gaming fell 31% to $779 million on weaker game-console chip revenue. Embedded revenue grew 19% to $977 million.

Profitability improved markedly alongside the shift toward higher-margin data-center products: GAAP gross margin expanded 14 points year over year to 54%, operating income swung to $1.99 billion from a $134 million loss a year earlier, and net income more than doubled to $2.3 billion (diluted EPS $1.38, up from $0.54). Non-GAAP EPS was $1.66, beating analyst estimates. The year-ago comparison was depressed by an $800 million China-export-control inventory charge and inflated on the net-income line by an $853 million tax-reserve release, both of which flatter this quarter's YoY growth somewhat.

AMD guided Q3 2026 revenue to roughly $13.0 billion (±$300 million), implying about 41% YoY growth, with non-GAAP gross margin expected around 56%. As of this writing, AMD's actual Q3 2026 results have not yet been reported — they're scheduled for November 3, 2026.
